Retail Sales Associate

Sales Results:
Meet and exceed quota/revenue target for net activations, customer renewals, accessories, handsets, and enhanced services. Demonstrate equipment functions and network capability. Perform rate package evaluations and propose solutions that best benefit the company and the customer. You must also be able to move throughout the store to actively engage customers, demonstrate products, and effectively execute the sales function.

Customer Retention:
Maintain and grow existing customer base and manage churn. Contact existing customers for contract renewals, and various data, accessory, and handset upsell opportunities. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve all customer issues and concerns.

Order Processing:
Accurately process customer transactions, audit and reconcile daily cash receipts.

Training/Meetings:
Responsible for thorough knowledge of all store functions. Remain current on all wireless products, services, industry and competitive trends. Attend all applicable trainings/meetings.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; some College preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience in a retail sales environment; wireless experience preferred.
  • Candidates should be available to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and communications skills.
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs, present solutions and add value through delivery of products and services.
  • Self motivated and energetic, with a strong work ethic to sell wireless phones and accessories in a retail sales environment.
  • The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
  • Effective negotiation and closing skills.

Retail Store Manager

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for managing sales and operations; ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout the store. Must play a leadership role in solving problems, make informed decisions and manage the workforce and time wisely in order to achieve maximum results.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring of the most qualified Retail Sales Associate to meet the district's needs.
  • Conduct orientation, train sales staff in execution of daily tasks and to maximize sales.
  • Conduct weekly coaching sessions, bi-weekly team meetings and monthly performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate ongoing employee development.
  • Participate in administering and developing short and long term goals, quotas and objectives.
  • Coordinate sales promotion activities and pricing of merchandise.
  • Oversee preparation of merchandise placement and displays.
  • Review operational reports and records to ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures, monitor store profitability, and manage payroll budgets.
  • Oversee compliance of Sales Representatives with established Company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of company funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record keeping procedures, and overall maintenance of the stores by performing required audits.
  • Help solve problems that affect the stores service, efficiency, and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Two years successful management experience in a retail environment
  • Strong sales and sales management skills
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Proven leadership ability and knowledge of wireless industry desired
  • Proven success in Customer resolutions/satisfaction is required
  • Demonstrated successful sales experience exceeding quota
  • Proficient in using multiple computer based systems
  • Self motivated and highly organized individual
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal and communications skills
